WE ARE RideSafe LLC

Motorcycle Rider Training

We regret to inform you that we are no longer offering Riding Classes. We lost the availability of a parking lot to hold our safety classes.

Thanks to all the students that came to our classes the last 12 years.

Special thanks to Two Brothers PowerSports for supporting us over the years.

The closest class to the LAX area would be ABATE Safe Rider out of Tomah. Please consider them for training.

ABATE Safe Rider

★★★

Your  Best First Ride

We offer 2 different courses to meet your needs.

  - The 2-day BRC - For a new rider

  - The 1-day BRC2 - For those who

    already have basic skills.

Either of these courses earn you a Wisconsin Road Test Waiver upon successful completion.

If you have never ridden a motorcycle before, the hands-on MSF Basic RiderCourse is the best way to learn the basics of operating a motorcycle and making wise judgements when riding.

Scooters: Own a scooter and need your motorcycle license but don’t want to learn how to shift using one of our training bikes?

- You can bring your scooter to class and use it during the riding portions. Scooters are allowed in classes marked with (S) below.

***Subject to certain restrictions.

Which Class is for you?

Basic RiderCourse - License Waiver

The best place for a new rider to start once they've made the decision to ride. Successful completion of this course and its knowledge and skill tests, which consists of approximately three hours of on-line learning, five hours of formal classroom activities and 10 hours of riding instruction (conducted over two sessions), serves as a license test waiver program in Wisconsin. Motorcycles and helmets are provided for your use during the course. Also, a course completion card may earn you an insurance discount.

For riders who already have basic skills. It is similar to the BRC except the speeds are higher and riders will be riding their own motorcycle. It is an excellent refresher course for practicing and renewing basic riding skills. There is an online eCourse (approx. 3hours), informal classroom component (approx. 2.5 hours), and riding instruction (approx. 5.5 hours).

IS THIS COURSE FOR YOU?

Please Note: The first riding exercise of this course is a QUALIFYING exercise. That means you need to demonstrate that you do have the basic skills needed to continue in this course. Students that do not demonstrate sufficient skill during the first exercise will not be permitted to continue. No Refunds are granted if you do not meet the objective of the exercise.
